Mixcycling® for Livingcap
We aim to gradually replace plastic material with selected waste from different types of production.
In practice this approach is very complex because each new material requires vast research to identify the most suitable load materials to be blended with the chosen plastic components, creating new materials in every respect. We work on load adhesion, which influences the strength of the material, and define the most appropriate parameters for final applications.
We are also one of the few companies that internally recycles all the wood and cork waste produced by our production processes, performing Mixcycling® to manufacture some “zero km” products. Completely recycling all our wood and cork waste internally further reduces the CO2 generated by transport.
