Breganze, our beautiful small town, is located in the piedmont area of Vicenza.
Those who see it for the first time admire our town for the abundance of vegetation, for its fertile hills and for the amazing mountains in the background.
But those who have been living here all their life know that these green spaces are getting smaller and smaller because of an intense urbanization.
Alberi@vita is a project about trees and green organized by the Coordinamento Tutela Territorio di Breganze, supported by the Municipality of Breganze, by the Biodistretto Pedemontano Vicentino and by Livingcap Società Benefit.
The goal of the initiative Alberi@Vita is creating a synergistic network, a kind of dialogue between urban green and suburban green to improve the quality of the environment and our landscape.
From the 15th of November a series of conferences, exhibitions and thematic excursions will be arranged to make the citizens and the town management reflect on the current status of the urban and suburban vegetation and to encourage them to change their approach in the management of the vegetation.
We’ll keep you updated about this beautiful project!
Last but not least, thank you Tiziano Rizzato for this glimpse of Breganze!
