Agglomerate and micro agglomerate cork

Agglomerate cork is the result of the need to reuse cork waste derived from the production of a one-piece natural cork and the need for more economical products to be placed on the market.

Production takes place according to the following steps:

1. The milling of cork waste;
2. The grains are selected and divided into different sizes, that will be used according to the article to be produced;
3. The granulate is mixed with adhesive resins (initially of animal origin,  today synthetic), to agglomerate the various pieces between them, the mixture is mechanically pushed into the forms;
4. The seasoning.
